Correction (October 2026): An earlier version of this story said the Apple Pay integration was for hotel and restaurant operators. RMS describes it for RMS Pay customers' properties; it does not mention restaurants.

RMS has integrated Apple Pay into its RMS Pay platform, making it available across all online payment channels—including the Booking Engine, Guest Portal, Corporate Portal, and Pay by Link—as well as RMS Pay terminals. Guests can authenticate payments using Face ID or Touch ID, with tokenized credentials ensuring card numbers are not shared. RMS states that Apple Pay is included in RMS Pay at no additional charge. The feature is already active for customers in Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada, Europe, the UK, and Singapore. RMS claims the integration reduces checkout friction, lowers fraud and chargeback risks, and ensures automatic reconciliation as payments appear in daily reports alongside other transactions. No manual configuration is required for existing customers. For operators not yet using RMS Pay, RMS suggests submitting a request to activate or contacting sales.
